Scholarship Application

Texas SMOAK is a competition barbecue team and 501(c)3 non-profit community group. By supporting community events Texas SMOAK aims to bring people together and support the pursuit of higher education for Central Texas youth.

As a team and group of volunteers, this year Texas SMOAK will offer 6-8 scholarships to Austin-area high school seniors. We are always looking for community events to support.

The Class of 2026 will be offered scholarships to recognize students who have:

• represented the community through service, academics, and extracurricular activities
• shown a strong desire to continue education in college, trade school, or in the military
• been referred by a teacher or staff member at their school
